Tourette's is a collection of motor and phonic tics, so his constant blinking, twitching, whistling and swearing is down to Tourette's. Tourette's is also associated with ADHD, so he might suffer from that too.

I think he just acts over the top to hide his Tourette's. I can see why he does it, so I can't get too annoyed at him. I think he's the early favourite to win.
