So that one semi final more or less decided Chelsea v Barcelona.

I couldnt see Liverpool getting 3 against that Chelsea defense and Michael Essien. The defending was awful especially on set pieces with Skrtel and Gerrard at fault. Skrtel was awful. I prefer Agger to him. A better all round defender imo. Aurelio was absolutely rubbish. Lucas isnt good enough.

If i was a German football fan i would be very worried after watching Bayern tonight.

Essien was immense against Gerrard. I don't like Chelsea much but I love Essien the guy is amazing.

Yea Essien is outstanding. He was a massive loss to Chelsea this season. Hiddink seems to have Drogba motivated again.

Bobby, would you have preffered Liverpool playing 4-4-2? Tactically I think Hiddink was better, I don't see why you can't play Gerrard and Alonso in the middle and put Benyaon and Riera on the wings and put Torres upfront with Kuyt?

^^i dunno because its hard for him to change the team around when they have been playing so well lately but yea that would have been better than playing Lucas. Benayoun isnt fully fit at the moment. Chelsea played very well tonight though.

In Bayern's defence (I should be shot for this, honestly), their defence was totally hampered by injuries. Lucio is a big loss, and even though I don't rate Lahm *that* highly, he would've made Messi's life a lot more difficult than "I'm just gonna go stand 20 feet away from you, sir"-Lell.

Still, though, one could argue to buy better second string defenders
