If you lived in the UK you'd be behind it. I know it sounds dumb. But the British youth culture is out of control. If I see another 17 year old in 3/4 length tracksuit bottoms, and hoodie riding a moped. I'm gonna run him over.

Ok I won't say you guys are dumb, because I don't live in the UK. But to me it DOES sound EXTREMELY dumb. It's an article of clothing for fucks sake, come on. People around here commit crimes in hoodies every day, but they don't ban them. Why? Because people would laugh and probably wear them anyway. Come on, for security reasons? There are plenty of other ways to disguise yourself if you are going to commit a crime or something of that nature. It's fine if you aren't allowed to WEAR the hood in certain places, but if they really aren't going to allow people to wear hoodies at all, then that's bullshit.

i feel your pain, but i wear hoodies when i'm cold, and if i ever take a trip out to england im still wearin my hoodie if i'm cold.

It is dumb. I agree.
Youth culture is out of control and the Uk is now completely controlled by European legislation that any laws that could combat crime are wrapped in red tape and against human rights.

Also you are allowed to wear hoodies, it isn't a ban. But you mau find certain shopping areas/pubs will not allow you to enter if you are.

I'm not sure if this ban will make any difference, for example if someone's robbing someone they aint gonna be worried about getting in trouble for wearing their hood up are they,

I am thinking the reason but I aint sure if its right anyways thats a serious bummer I love hoodies man wear em as often as I can if they banned it I would still wear it anyways prob in jail after awhile but still.
