I dont see how anyone could like the SIR version better......og is better in almost every way.....its better pretty much be default just for the fact it has a Pac verse in it. Not to mention the better, more soulful production, better Outlawz verses, etc. But more importantly, The og is the way Pac wanted us to hear that song.

Both versions are good, 2pac's verse is one of the best verses in the face of hip hop, napo did a good job doing the verse in the still i rise version too. The rick James sample is unbelievable, but so is Johnny J's production.

I love the OG simply because of 2pac's verse. I could give a fuck about the lawz verse, cept kadafi's (my fav law) but the Released version instrumental is way better, and Pac woulda sounded good rappin his verse on it, if a shitty outlaw didnt have 2 steal it.

1-rappers steal full verses all the time, shit happens.
2-EDI records new verses that suck ass on every album
3-Napoleon felt the verse was very personal and made his decision, thats all there is to it
4-they took off all Fatal verses, this is no surprise here


I dont agree with Napoleons choice or anything, but I see why he decided to do it. I'll give him credit, he puts much more energy into it than Pac did
