What in your opinion makes Tupac so badass?

For instance, he wrote poetry (about love), read Shakespeare, even did Ballet. Then, he goes on records talking about killing people, and having sex with peoples wives, maybe, not in those words. *You get the point*.


Yet, if someone else admitted to doing some of that shit, they might be considered pussy or fake.

So, what separates 'Pac from others?

I don't know what it could be. Remember that clip where he said he could be doing a Rick James impersonation but, could still beat down anyone (or something like that). I guess he could just switch back and forth into whatever mode he wanted.......Whichever it was, I guess I identified with the thug side of him more.

What made him so badass? The fact that he acknowledged both those sides of himself. A lot people who call rappers fake or have called rappers fake do so because those rappers project a thug image 24/7. No one is that one dimensional.
