there will NOT be a unreleased box set. stop and think for one second... amaru and especially the outlawz have burned so many bridges (charging pac's original collaborators insane amounts of money for his verse, removing producers, reporducing songs to sound similar to the original but now not being legally obligated to give them primary production credits, and twisting pac's music to become a vehicle for the outlawz' own successes). beyond that, releasing the originals would require a very intensive sample clearing process that would never be fully successful. prince isn't too keen on people sampling his music, and royalties would be insane. that's a major reason why a lot of the new pac material (and recent hip hop) for that matter has transitioned into original loops instead of samples - sampled artists are getting hip to getting an inc reasingly larger cut. simple fact is that an unreleased box set is neither feasible or realistic in consumer price. who but the hardcore pac collectors would pay over $50 (more like $100) for a box set of pac tunes over some very dated and simple production? shit, half of this board wouldn't even buy it anyway and just leech it from one of a thousand yousendit links.

i don't believe there's one album left. afeni has well over 80 tracks left by my knowledge alone, and there's no excuse not to release the music. afterall, the music funds the tasf - which seems to be her main focus these days. this has to be all pr hype to help draw interest to the new album. they tried it before with eminem's name, and now they're trying to make people get out there and buy the last album. i wouldn't be surprised if this was the last "makaveli era" album or something stupid like that, with plenty more "2pac" or "tupac" around the corner.

I'm not sure why everyones moaning for the boxset or a cd of OGs. Yah that would be nice for a collection, but I like Alll out mixed better than the og, I also think the black jesuz on still i rise is better than the og. The og's feel outdated.. and idk if i'm alone here but when u listen to "don't fall asleep" yah its a cool track, but I think with some good production it could be an AWESOME track. Also, I think someone already said this but who, other than psycho pac fans like ourselves, would buy a cd full of og's.

Hopefully this won't be last material we see.. but as u guys are mentioning we still got a good year and a half full of pac already scheduled (lets not forget the lm45z project *drools*, scarface project *drools*, this 'the way he wanted it cd *drools*) this guys been dead for 7 yrs and were getting like 5 albums in the time frame of 2 yrs. That makes sense.. I just really got started to listening to ogs and unreleased stuff recently. I always thought those like.. 17 makaveli cds you could buy were fake or just scams. Anyone a place I could get all the stuff i've missed?

You guys need to look at the situation realistically here. There's no doubt in my mind that this will be his final album from Amaru. Jesus, you guys make Afeni out to look like a lying, money hungry bitch when she really hasnt lied. Some of the things she's said may not have happened but there could be reasons for that, its not like she meant to get everyone excited for nothing. When you think about it, theres no way EVERY single 2Pac song is gonna be officially released, remixed or not...some of them will just never see an official release. Some songs that you think may pop up on a new Pac album probably wont. For example, verses from songs like "Lets Get It On," "Raise Up Off These Nuts" etc. have been either remixed or bootlegged to shit and everyone's heard them so why release them again? His verse from "Let's Fight" was used in the 50 Cent song so it probably wont be released on one of his cds in another form. When you break it down, there really ISNT that much stuff left to be released. She said shes planning a big release for his 10th anniversary and plus its now supposed to be his last album, so why is a box set made out to be like something that is absolutely crazy? Maybe a box set of OG's will never happen, but remixes is very possible. 2 cd's could be filled with pretty much all the unreleased stuff thats leaked and then another 2 cds could pretty much cover all the unreleased stuff that hasnt leaked. Songs like "First 2 Bomb" and "Don't Go To Sleep" were already on the Makaveli & Dillinger CD so they probably wont be in this release either.

I gotta go to work in about an hour so I dont have a lot of time to break it down for you guys now..but when I get back later I'll type it out for you just so you understand what im saying more clearly. :thumb:
