Tupac's Father ???

Ok, I just finished reading Inside a Thugs Heart by Angela Ardis.

In one particular letter Tupac writes about his past: his Mom, Panthers, petty crimes ... Leila < Lol!

Has anyone else noticed that Tupac named his Father (I don't have the name or the book with me) but didn't put Billy Garland. He said his Father was (someone else) and that he was dead.

Who is Tupacs Father, if he has written someone other than Billy Garland?

He was referring to a guy nicknamed 'Legs', I forgot his real name.
Billy Garland is Pac's father though.

Why would Tupac say that he never knew who his father was untill after the NY shooting, and then write that it was this 'Legs' guy who was dead. It doesn't make sense.
