Anyone watch this yet?

Just noticed it on VCDQ.com.

I watched it on Netflix. I had not seen it before so I loved it.

Haven't watched it, first time I'm reading about it.

EDIT: I've just watched a clip of it. Incredible feeling you get when you listen and watch Pac do an interview. LEGEND. I'll prolly watch it tomorrow.

I saw a part of this and I had one major thought - what happened to his teeth?
I mean, his teeth look very weird. Like he was getting seriously beat up out there.

The picture above makes me wonder how did he fix his teeth to look all perfect a few months later. I've never seen him wear orthodontic apparatus.

Apart from that it's awesome to see that 2pac was about to grow up. Probably Death Row stopped him though.
These days I feel like many of his songs have pretty ridiculous lyrics. I'd love to see him making more mature songs. But then again I grew up to see how limited and immature he often was with his opinions. A ghetto marxist to say the least. But a great charismatic guy, almost a great leader but insecure.

^Well, he gave that impression of being very confident but I think that he really wasn't. He was always full of worries, at some point it seemed like he was paranoid, he thought that everyone was really against him even though he tried his best to make people like him. He was relatively smart but it seems like sometimes he tried to come off as smarter and more confident than he really was. He created his image that way but I think that it was far from his true personality.
However from that part when he said that he has no friends, only supporters and people who are against him I thought that things that he said were more and more depressing. He didn't look confident yet he tried to speak like he was very confident, hard to describe I guess.
I think that's where his 'aggression' came from. It was there to hide his weaknesses and show that he's "not to fuck with". Looks like he was trying very hard to achieve that.

I think he was as confident as one can be given his circumstances.

Maybe it's just that I always thought it was more natural. Watching that video I thought that he was forcing it.

He wasn't un-confident.

Listen to his lyrics, wheneve he says something to give advice he says "murder" "pistol" or something gangsta to cover it up.

He knew his audience were mainly ignorant so he had to do ignorant music to make good messags bumpable.

Thats why his music is still relevant now. You hardly see anyone bumping...something like "Why" by Jadakiss in the streets...

Though, i agree with the paranoid part.
But he KNEW, he even said in resurrection "after getting shot i was so paranoid n lost in the weed at that MOMENT"...

I think he definitely created a persona in front of the camera. It wasn't the true Tupac.

In some ways he was confident. When you are famous you can't help but be, people are always enlarging your ego and desperate to get a piece of you. I also think he was confident in his abilities as an entertainer.

But I think he was insecure in other areas. Not a surprise though. Most people are like this. And most people have a confident front. It's human nature.

I love the prison interviews. The one he did in Vibe is my favorite. "Ready to Live" or whatever they called it. The difference between him in jail and him out is amazing. Locked up he was chastened, contemplative, much closer to that 17-year-old in Baltimore. I think long-term sobriety would have made Tupac a much more significant dude than he was.
