Summer to heat up with iconic tribute release.

May 22, 2008 - Tupac Shakur's first cousin, Kendrick Lasane, along with Selfmade Entertainment, have announced the release of This One's For Pac, a memorial album dedicated to the late rap icon.

To be released in June, This One's For Pac will feature 16 tracks dedicated to the life and times of Tupac.

Featured on the album will be Outlawz, Thug Life, Layzie Bone, Young Problems, Heartless, and others who worked with Tupac throughout his career.

kuz someone got the idea that it's commercially wiser to put currently
"hot" artists on them, even if it would probably go against Pac's principles.

personally I don't even think that the songs even got better with those
guest appearences, and I think it's an insult to his name to imply that
his music needs ANYONE else being featured on it to be sold, as if his name
alone isn't good enough.

it's a shame, but it's old, and there's nothing to do about it.

do the Lawz really need to be on a Pac tribute album? they drop his name in almost every song they do already, and it gets annoying. an interesting idea, but i doubt it will do much.

Well, when your whole carrier goes arround someone as 2pac this is what happen.

They should just continue to feature on the futur 2pac albums. I really enjoy all the track they did on previous album but when I heard stuff such as "Get rich or die trying nigga as 50" come on this start to be ridiculous. Droping people names does not bring lot of respect.

I would like a new Fatal album with verses as hard as the one in Dumpin'.
