Sales do not equal Talent. I think we all know that. Many talented rappers are overlooked at the record stores while less talented rappers sell 4 times as much.

I don't know what kind of adding they did but if Dre is on there then I would expect Biggie to be up there (by counting the albums and not Dre's production on various albums).

It's obvious that Jay-Z and Snoop outsells Biggie since they're still alive! They've released more albums than Biggie.

Yeah you're right. It was only about platinum success & Ready To Die went multi-platinum & LAD went over diamond.....although over diamond may only count as 6 or 7 million in this show.

Biggie is mad overrated. I think he gets too much credit as a hip hop genius, simply because he died. Now I know pac gets a little boost from his mysterious death, and it makes his music a little more real feeling, but IMO Big gets too much credit usually for being like one of the best rappers ever, when in fact he just dropped 2 albums, and IMO they were good but nothing amazing. I like biggie albums like I like 'documentary'. Fun album to listen to for a week or two and then put it away. Dre easily makes top 5, simply for consistency. Snoop is still a good candidate for top 5 just because of the mass contribution and recognition he has brought to hip hop, maybe more than any other artist. I swear I see snoop everywhere on tv, radio, and the doggystyle girls gone wild gets rented like crazy at the videostore i work at..

^^its mostly a matter of opnion so its hard to discuss......but i think that bigs flow was better than both nas and jay-z.......I love Bigs verses in victory....tight as fuck....but he didnt really posses the deepness of nas or pac for that matter.......but he is definetly much better than jay-z no doubt in most other categories too! I think what makes jay-z bad is that he tries to freestyle the shit in the booth....."yall fucking with whom...." he is good no doubt but very incoherent in my opnion..........same goes for snoop alot of times.....dont know what they mean when they rap........
