Technology trojan/virus?

Just did a sweep of my pc and found my first trojan.. Do I just delete it? My program recommended me to put it in the quarentine folder, which I did, and thats where its at right now.. Shouldnt I just delete it or just keep it their? I'm not too pc-savvy so any advice is appreciated.

Your anti-virus should give you an option to clear all found viruses and trojans.
