DeKalb County police have arrested a member of the rap group Trillville on charges of raping a 16-year-old girl.

Donnell Prince, who goes by the name of "Don P," is charged with rape and two counts of aggravated sodomy, said DeKalb County police. A bond hearing is scheduled for Wednesday.

Prince and another man are accused of taking the girl into a bedroom in a suburban Atlanta apartment complex on December 16th, and authorities are searching for the second man believed to have been involved, said DeKalb police Officer Cory Hughes.

Prince's attorney, Keith Adams, disputed the police account.

The attorney said the girl was not a minor and the sex was consensual. Adams also said there were several people in the apartment that night and none will corroborate what police say happened.

Group publicist Teresa Sanders declined to comment on the arrest.

Trillville's members began making music in high school and gained popularity after signing on with Lil Jon, who popularized the high-energy, club-oriented hip-hop phenomenon known as "crunk."

The group has had two big hits in the last two years, "Neva Eva" and "Some Cut," which reached as high as No. 3 on Billboard magazine's hot rap tracks charts. The group is planning to release its second CD in the summer.
