Tornados last night...

if you are in the states, you probably saw on the news that tornadoes had ripped through my city. it started out with pretty big hail (up to baseball size) and the progressed to funnel clouds through our south side and downtown areas. i don't think many were injured or killed, but it was pretty interesting driving to work this morning:

yeah, i didn't actually think anything was going to touch down so i was on the top floor assembling my new elliptical lol... mostly it was the college students who lived downtown who got hit (and the bars). the apartment building i lived at in 98 is completely gone.

i heard that on the news a few hours ago, i thought that was your area.
there have been a shit load of tornados the past few weeks.

a few weeks ago they had one that did some damage to fairview heights illinois, which is the town right next to where i use to live outside st. louis. they showed some quick pics on the news, my old mall got some good amount of damage.
