Just thought I should share this because you were just talking about being at a temple and stuff yesterday.

BANGKOK, Thailand (Reuters) -- Suspected Muslim militants killed a Buddhist monk and five other people in Thailand's restive Muslim south, police said on Sunday, in separatist violence that has claimed more than 900 lives.
The militants attacked a Buddhist temple in the southern Pattani province late on Saturday, slit the 76-year-old monk's throat, killed two teenage boys and set fire to the temple, a police report obtained by Reuters said.
The charred bodies of the two teenagers were found in the temple, said the report which did not give details.
On Saturday, militants also killed a Buddhist villager in Pattani, a Muslim village defense volunteer in the nearby Narathiwat province and a Muslim village official in Yala province, police said.
"We had nine security-related incidents in the past 24 hours and there were three people killed," police spokesman Colonel Somkuan Kampeera told Reuters.
The attacks came during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, in which police data last year showed militants intensified attacks on civilian and government targets, both Muslim and Buddhists, compared to other months.
Two people have been beheaded during the fasting period this year, pushing the number of decapitations to 12 in 21 months of unrest in the region.
Although the government has sent 30,000 soldiers and police to the region, where 80 percent of people are Muslim, ethnic Malays, the insurgency appears to be growing.
