Thugs Mansion question

I found the better days album the other day and thought i would listen to it as i hadn't done in a while, in the song Thugs Mansion he says " I watched my daddy scream peace while the other man shot him".

Who is he talking about??? Any info would be great

You can walk around being a peaceful person but that isn't going to protect you.
