Since winning the Oscar this year for their song "It's Hard Out Here for a Pimp" from the film Hustle & Flow, Three 6 Mafia has been busy appearing on various projects – including albums from Justin Timberlake, Paris Hilton and Lupe Fiasco – as well as lining up their own deals in film and television.

The Memphis rappers are also putting together another studio album, to be released in December via Hypnotize Minds/Sony.

"We've got some tracks. We're still working on it," group member Juicy J says. "We're just trying to make sure we get the right single and the right songs that people like and can dance to."

Three 6 Mafia continues to work on projects for artists on their label, Hypnotize Minds, which recently signed a three-year production joint venture deal with Warner Bros.

Outside of music, the group just finished penning the script for Choices III: The Return of Big Pat, the third installment in a previously independently released DVD series Choices, which will now be distributed through Warner Bros. They are also scheduled to appear in the upcoming film Jackass 2, as well as episodes of HBO's Entourage, VH1's Flavor of Love and E's Girls Next Door.

Finally, Three 6 Mafia will take their music on the road for a tour in early 2007. All of this activity will happen without the presence of Crunchy Black, who "left the group to pursue his own solo career," Juicy J says. "We’re on good terms but he’s doing his own thing right now. We wish him the best of luck."
