Allright guys, this has gotten a little out of control. Please don’t forget this is a Christian values website and is hosted at their expense so posting such childish anti-Christian propaganda really is not appropriate so please stop posting these atheist cartoons.
I’d also like to say that I was attempting to lighten up the serious mood of our crusade here, but these cartoons you’re posting Claire are offensive to me personally and to everyone else who works so hard to make this news service what it is. You may think you’re being fun or cute, but honestly this is simply wrong.
Your cartoons, Claire, are showing an incredible amount of disrespect for a religion that has helped shape this planet for thousands of years. It is integral to billions of people who care and love and worship daily. You would disparage that with your nasty acts. Christianity is the backbone of this country, as American as apple pie and baseball. It is our national moral compass and no president has worshipped any other religion. You are showing an inexcusable amount of disdain for your neighbors, your loved ones and your country with your comments.
Furthermore, I believe since you are making false accusations regarding crimes (sex crimes committed by Catholic clergy) that your acts border on slander and libel and could thereby be violating the law. I wish you would reconsider what you’re doing since you are labeling innocent people criminals (only a court can decide if they are indeed guilty). I find your actions worthy of prosecution and I will urge the authorities to take a look.
I should also point out that there is a genuine undertone of racism present here, racism at Americans who are white and Christian. That simply is not fair. In many places, this is against the law and again you could be arrested for it. By promoting this sort of hate, you are committing a hate crime. What if some person reading your garbage attacks a Christian or, God forbid, a priest? Would you still laugh with that blood on your hands? If this is even a 10% possibility, is it worth the risk? What about if this were a 0.00000001% possibility, what about then? Any risk is simply unacceptable. You are putting children and families at danger, American children and families. Not to mention our soldiers fighting overseas whose enemies could see your cartoons and get a chuckle and thereby be motivated to blow up our fighting boys. Do you really want to make the terrorists even more determined to kill our soldiers? You cannot be this irresponsible in a time of terrorism and war. America’s very freedom is at risk.
I realize some of you will try and twist this argument back at me and say that my initial jokes were just as bad from a moslem perspective, but that is simply not the case. Moslem terrorists have attacked and murdered Americans and other citizens of the world for over a decade now. I know very little of Afghanis versus Pakistanis, so these jokes are simply that– vague comments about people I know nothing about. They do not come from personal experience, nor personal disagreements. Rather, this is a social issue, of American culture challenging and fighting against the fascism and hate that Islam is attempting to spread in this country. As one commenter pointed out, these fanatics have lately taken to intimidating Fox TV (South Park) people for depicting Mohammed on air. It is shameful that Americans caved into their fear. We cannot survive as a country with such effeminate worries. We are far stronger than that. I was taking an offense position, promoting American values and our optimism by posting some lighthearted jokes. It was meant as a statement that as Americans we share a worldview of hope, fun and wisdom and these terrorists can never take that away.
God bless you each and every one!
