FUCK FLORIDA
i know this is probably the typical newbie thread but its really just the fact that i'm high, so deal with it

i think this is a really good discussion. ever wonder where pac would be right now if he hadn't been killed? i know this is old talk, but i find myself thinking into this deeply whenever i'm reminded of pac. i cant speak on behalf of the other rappers, but i know pac would be doin his thing. just imagine, a new album coming out in the summer of 08, fuck that imagine all shit he would have released from 1996 up untill now.

do you think he would still have the same raw style that he delivered in the mid 90's? this is the part that kills me. imagine how much more his music could have impacted the world. imagine having your hands on countless pac material, imagine pac being alive and dominating the rap world, among other things. imagine walking out of a record store, today, tearing open an album like a junkie opening a pill bottle. his music is so full of raw emotion and messages. i dont think he would have faded away. i dont think his style would have became wack. i'm sure the production would sound way different by now, obviously, but i think it would be geneous. i think the production would be amazing, just like it was before, and pac would be on top of the world. think about if that gun was out of bullets, think about if the people in the white caddilac had been arrested for unlawfull speeds, hours before the murder of 2pac. imagine 2pac, rapping untill the end of time, imagine better days.

who knows if he would still be making albums right now. but i am angered at the fact that 2pac had so much more to accomplish, and we werent able to witness it.

this is a over talked discussion, but its something i feel we all think about. the thread wasn't made for any special reason, just let me know if ya feel me.

Pac is still here, just not in physical form. He's troublesome haha.

seriously though, it is the quintessential attainment/accomplishment for an artist to speak from the grave. I have studied various other artists works, in other genres like painting, I have seen documentaries and interviews of such artists, and those artists spoke of 'speaking from the grave' as a predominant concept in their own work, and the biggest foundation for it. I read a quote "the man who is afraid of death builds on indestructible foundations". For a poet, painter, or construction artist, they understand that their words, brush strokes, or own bricks and mortar can outlive even themselves. Nowhere is this concept of speaking from the grave more evident in the poem 'In the event of my demise'.

I don't think things would have got better for him. I think he reached a peak, although pac heads will disagree with me because of all the dope unreleased material.

pac would probably be in prison for a long time if he didn't get shot that night or if had survived the shooting. pac was in a lot of deep shit. i think pac would be way more into movies than music if he was still alive. i do wonder though how he would have responded and acted if he had survived that vegas shooting. would he have changed and calmed down or would he have become even more angry and self destructive? i really wish i could know how pac would have reacted to being shot for the 2nd time in 2 years. I always wonder about that.

2pac was meant to go like he did, he knew it and his music wouldn't be the same poetry if he was still here. He was about pain, hopelessness and at the same time keeping hope, above all though doing whatever your mission is in life with ALL your heart because you're appearance in this world isn't long no matter what number you live to.

i havent really thought about that much, but damn theres another thing to think about. i think this is also why so many people wish he was alive.

just reading your post bank robber puts a smile on my face...pac would be doing songs with everyone..it would be amazing to see him on TV everywhere....he would own shit...pac would be getting around like jay-z is right now and kanye west and 50 and all of them...he would have his own clubs out, his own branded shit..anything and everything u could think of...he had a good vision...and people had that same vision of him...his rawness....everytime pac raps, other rappers start crying cuz it doesn't get better then tupac. u just can't beat him hes way too strong...

It's been said a million times - by Pac heads too. Pac died at the greatest (for his legacy) moment he could possibly die. Also the fact that he died like a thug :p

bank robber lol?

Pac was too big to end up fading out, he and his style was to go out with a bang. It is a paradox to think that (in the words of N Machiavelli) 'it is more difficult to maintain glory, than to obtain it'. Pac maintains a glory, even in his absence. What does this tell you about Makaveli?

Word up. I think if Pac lived he would've become president of the united states. 9/11 would've never happened. Pac woulda been like bin laden what up hommie and Bin Laden would be all THUG LIFE mother fucker, fuck whitey! The two of them would've gotten together and solved all the worlds problems starting with the aids epidemic in Africa. Man imagine the possibilities.

why stop at aids? pac would've taken over children's TV shows...picture barney and friends thugged out, sesame street just wouldn't be the same again....replacing Mr. Rogers wouldn't be so hard if pac was around because Mr. Shakur would be on the come up!

I think about these situations especialy heavywhenever check out them last few interviews & notice how not just more 'political Pac was geting but the ideas and plans just knew it wasnt just air like from other people i suggest if havent heard or read in a while there's a section on this place w/ interviews articles if you have time definitely
but priority would be hear them have the audio if not get reading but theres typos everywhere and ones that cross each other people throw in

no telling what Pac would be doing what role in different areas he would have or wouldnt have
