My mom works at the county prison at the front desk, and she told me this yesterday. A woman was pulled over for a DUI. I think it was a checkpoint because she wasn't charged with anything else, but her level was only the minimum .08. Well originally she was only going to get probation or something, but the judge changed her mind at last minute and made her spend five days in jail. Because of that, the lady misses her last days of summer classes at Lehigh or Lafayette College, and she fails for the semester, which mean she won't graduate. She was also supposed to be the LaCrosse coach, but she's not being offered it anymore because she's not graduating, and she can't afford to go to school for another semester. How's that for some shit? Pay for four years of college and not graduate, and now she has to move down to Florida with her parents or something. The girl's life went right down the shitter.


Just thought I'd share that.

thats why you shouldn't drink and drive.... and get caught. the other week i was coming home from the bar and got stopped at a checkpoint. they made me get out of the car and do a sobriety test. i was wasted but somehow passed every test- got in my car and got the fuck out of there.

The highest my blood-alcohol level was 32... that was the night of the Oasis concert here in Toronto.
