Yeah the Jenner thing is a bit obnoxious. If it isn't him, it's Kylie that's in the news and if it isn't her, it's right back to Kim who made them all famous in the first place. Pair that up with Kanye in the mix and you get why people say society worships celebrities. People forget Kanye is a musician...a "musician"...and instead it's about what he and Kim are up to and what he said or did at an award show.

Oh well. I'd be lying if I said this wasn't entertaining. While it's great Bruce gets to be whatever he wants now, I can't help but feel the media is going to fuel something much deeper inside of him and he goes off the deep end. Getting the sex change isn't going off the deep end in the grand scheme of things. It's what he wanted. But I feel like this guy will be dead within the next ten years, and it's going to be something really stupid but sad, like a drug addiction or suicide or something else that indicates he might not be right in the head and his life just spirals downward.

Give it another 20 and Kim could be going down the same road as well.

Damage is already done. Why did he want it? I feel like my brain is part woman but I see absolutely no reason for me to receive a sex change operation. He didn't want to be a man? Why? People who are calling him goddess this and angel that are the same people who strongly value equality between sexes and value people for who they are and tolerating any disabilities, dysfunction and disorder. Yet, they are celebrating an extreme form of body modification that satisfied some sort of twisted desire.

When I see a freak with prosthetic horns in their foreheads or somebody with altered face to look like a comic book villan, I recognized them as having some sort mental illness. I don't think I would get much argument about that.

Maybe I'm overreacting? Maybe people are celebrating him because that's what people are supposed to do on social media? Maybe to them it's like somebody just got a new tattoo or similar and it's not a big deal, it's nothing to do with social decay. It's just another retweet. Insane.

Yeah I never thought of it that way before. But sometimes the freedom of choice is valued, so he has a choice on whether he wants to change or not. And other times being yourself is valued, which is part of freedom of choice as well.

Except you can't choose to be retarded or black or have a birth defect.

That freedom of choice is the scary thing. The Jenner thing is a molecule on the tip of a ice burg. Genetic modification in the future will allow parents to determine what their child will be like before birth but by who's wish? Taking toddlers to tanning salons and encouraging ones own child to smoke mind altering chemicals or shit like that happening today might seem cute compared to the freedom of choice given to "progressive" people of future society.

My Google car is fucking me down. After being on the phone with the representatives for 50 minutes, I find out that the particular version of Android running the car automatically chooses a destination based on my internet browsing habits. So, last week I end up at this run down shop that appear to be dry cleaners. The first thing I notice is the Asian gentleman smoking a cigarette and reading a Chinese newspaper. He looks at me and asks "Googo?". I nod. He then waves his thumb over his shoulder towards a 6x3 ft cabinet. Swallowing a mouth full of saliva, I proceeded to open the cabinet door. To my astonishment, opening the door reaveled a hidden room. It was dark and pink, I thought I saw a woman spreading her anus amongst exited sweaty men with fist full of dollars. The surreal sight was quickly blocked by a large dark entity. It was a big black guy, I'm guessing the bouncer - he asks what I needed and with a raspity voice I murmur "Google" - the bouncer gives me a smirk, looks at me from my toes to my eyes and says "5 dollars". Needless to say I'm $400 in the red again!

I don't watch GoT, but I will be missing Veep and Silicon. I guess we'll still have John Oliver for another month or two.

I think I'm going to downgrade our satellite channel package and use the savings to get HBO. HBOGo, I think it's called, will be awesome to have once I move out. It'll let me finally watch The Wire in HD and other stuff I always wanted to watch like Newsroom and Trueblood.
