This is my thread

Might see Kendrick and Kanye in Chicago November....8th? Some shit like that. A couple of friends found tickets for about 50 bucks. All the way in the back, but... whatever, you're there. We'd probably drive up to Chicago from where we are now, about five hours, and go see them. They also want to either see a Rams game or a Bears game. Also in November.

Might get to go to my first concert and first NFL game in the same week.

Hooray!

So the NFL has the vikings and steelers playing in London. Does anyone out there even care?

The who and the what now?

I've spent more time in the US than the vast majority of British people and the answer is still no.

Maybe Americans who moved here go to those games?

It was a sell out. They always are. 90 thousand people watching the game. Will be again for Jags, 49ers.

A lot of different nationalities. Plenty of Americans, plenty of English.

I am thinking of going somewhere in midwest US. I was discussing it with friends earlier. I've done the big cities.

Although I am probably going to Seattle in 2014 or 15.

Seattle's stadium (dunno what the fuck it's called) is well-known for how loud it is. It's known as the 12th Man because the crowd often forces the visiting QBs to use hand signals to covey messages and plays, because they get so loud. Seattle also seems like a very nice, small city. Not too small, but it's no NYC, LA, Chicago, etc. It's pretty clean there too, from what I've heard, and there's everything there, from beaches to forests to mountains, etc.

I have to go to the Northwest myself, some time. The rest of my family has already been a few times because of my dad's conferences and they all enjoyed it.

And it's good to see others embracing the NFL overseas. I think if other countries started truly enjoying football but realized the politics at play and shadiness of the owners, it may build some leverage with fans. Americans are too stupid to realize they can stop going to the games to gain leverage with the NFL over issues like concussions, PEDs, and just some players being absolute morons (Aaron Hernandez). But if the NFL tries to take teams overseas (that's a whole different debate) it would be nice if Europeans of the city the NFL is interested in throw their weight around and force the NFL to clean their shit at the door before they enter the UK or the rest of Europe.

Even if the NFL doesn't go overseas (I kinda hope they don't, just for the sake of travel times and time zones and all that), I hope at least the set up they have now sticks, where a few games are played there. And I think Euro fans would still have more leverage than US fans, and I doubt the NFL would back out of the games they already have scheduled in the UK because Britons ask them to get their shit together.

I don't know what the first one is, but the Seahawks have no chance

Really? I hate the Seacocks because of a friend I have that I argued with over sports all the time. It's more of a thing of spite for me to hate anything Seattle (I know, that makes my last post hilariously hyprocritical). But the Shithawks are actually a team to fear, at least when they're at home. Their defense has been so dominant and Marshawn Lynch just keeps kicking ass. And Russell Wilson is getting it done for them, too. It's a weird thing Pete Carroll has going on there. But it works.

I think they win the NFC West, honestly, since the Niners are deep throating anyone they play's cock right now. And the Rams and the Cards are being their usual selves of the last five years.

The Saints are going to have to try and beat them in the playoffs, because that is the only NFC team with a chance, as it stands right now, and after that it's just Broncos in the Super Bowl.

Does chewing marijuana stems get you high? I'm reading it contains pretty much no THC, but people do it for fun while smoking.

I bought the ecigarette. Pretty good substitute, makes me smoke regular cigs much less often and satisfies me when I can't smoke. I also had a lot of those moments when I wanted to smoke but knew it was a bad idea because I'm going to be smelly or the room is going to be smelly. No problems now.

The bad part is I smoke the ecig all the time at home now.

Try blowing the smoke out your nose.... Worst experience ever.

I'll stick to the real shit.

I tried. With mine it's totally fine. I smoke real cigarettes as well and obviously the ecig is not the same, but it works like a great substitute for when I feel like smoking but know I shouldn't smoke the real deal.
