This is my thread

I read about "Slab City" in California and how supposedly there are no laws there. How does that work?

You know the movie Into The Wild where he meets that girl who lives in an rv with her family and like hundreds of other rv's live there in the middle of nowhere in the desert with no water and just hippy shit, that's basically slab city, it's stupid

I read an article like "Ten weirdest towns on earth" or something and it was among them. So that got me curious and I did some google searches, and they all come back with the fact that there are "no laws" there. That's the particular part I'm wondering about. Is it like a state inside a state or international waters? Or are they just saying that, when, in fact, if someone got killed there and word made it back to the real world, police would be all over the place? Everywhere I looked it just said there were no laws there, with no further emphasis on what that technically means.

I saw the interview yesterday. I've been watching all the That 70's Show seasons on Netflix since January. On the next to last season now and I've just fallen in love with Mila Kunis. I liked her before, but that character she plays of Jackie is, in a weird way, pretty hot. Materialistic, stupid.... I know a girl that kind of looks like her too, and she's just like Jackie's character.

Most of the people I know like Donna, and she's cool, but Jackie is a decent blend between Donna and Laurie.

Nope, Ukraine. Apparently she was on That 70's Show as a 13 year old, or something. She lied about her age. Maybe she wasn't that young, but she was no more than 16 when they wanted someone that was 18+ like the rest of the cast.

I just found out she's form Ukraine. I always thought she was spanish or something

She's a Jew lady. They fled to the USA to escape the Ukrainian Jew monster. That's what I think she said.

That interview was funny. You could tell she was bored as fuck of the relentless promotion of Oz. Answering the same questions 30 - 50 times a day for 3 months. She was just glad to talk about something else.

lol nice. seriously though, the more I play with this the more I am in awe. As far as tech goes we've come such a long way, shit is so cool

I remember seeing a gigpixel picture of Vancouver before. It was pretty cool. I think that was a few years back, like 2010.

Europe is so far behind.

Hey you americans, is there a good place I can find financial information about corporations in america? Do they like file reports with the IRS or something, and are these data public? Maybe searchable and browseable online?

Form 1120, am I onto something? Can I contact the office of the secretary of state for these records? Or the IRS? Or would I need to be an American citizen?

I'm not aware of any public records. I mean, of course google will point you in the right direction. I just wanted to say whenever I had to do something similar to this for school or work I would just contact the company directly. You have to talk to a few people and it takes time but I always got what info I needed, as long as what I was asking for wasn't too informative lol
