This is my thread

I might be in love with you. Do you watch the documentary channel at all? Watch Eat the Sun when you can, its my favorite documentary at the moment.

Of all the lies we're fed on which we gorge in our comfort-addicted world, none is more insidious than the lie of romance, the seductive but infantile notion that somewhere there exists someone to complement us in every way--someone who will make us complete. Of course, this illusion keeps us from ever being complete in and of ourselves, and eventually encourages us to despise our shortcomings, our flaws, everything in which our humanity lies. Our humanity, without which, of course, we are nothing -

Six Feet Under.

Fantastic writing. I love this show. Anyone watch it? It's an HBO show, but a bit old.

I have seen a few episodes. But never really got hooked.

This is what happened to me tonight: I was looking at that Twitter website and came upon Doug Stanhope urging people to fuck with this dude who stole his jokes. I obliged. A bunch of people I don't know liked my comments and it was fun.

I think I'm just a sucker for well-written characters. The show has quite a bit of surreal stuff with the characters talking to dead people but nonetheless, what the characters go through and how they react is so real. It's just good acting and good writing and it makes you think. It's what it comes down to.

Although it did take some adjustment seeing Dexter making out with a black guy, over and over again. He plays a gay character.

I watched orginally back in 2001 or whenever it came out. I just fell off for no reason really. I tried again recently, but got into other shows instead.

I have always respected the Patriots. Well, I really like Brady and think he's a great QB and I like Belichick as a coach and think he and Saban are the GOAT.

^You're forgetting Lombardi. HBO has a very good documentary about him running right now called Lombardi. Any sports fan should watch it.

Tom Brady is my favourite athlete in any sport right now. And it's because of the philosophy seen in the following (paraphrased) quote: "I play this game for one reason, and one reason only. That is to win."

If the Lions beat the Saints this week, which I believe there is a chance that it could happen, I can see them in the Super Bowl. They gave the Packers a good game the last time around and I think if Stafford and Megatron can connect enough times throughout the game and keep the chains moving, they will score more often than not. I think it will be a shootout with both the Packers and the Saints, two of the most potent offenses in the NFL.

I'm a huge Stafford fan after his first full season which was also his break-out year. To make things interesting in the AFC, I hope Tebow can have one last miracle comeback this season, or maybe just lead from the beginning. Either way, I just want to see him win a game when everyone else is expecting them to get clobbered after barely making the playoffs. They've been underdogs all season, and I don't think that's gonna change. So why not have it on a (relatively) big stage, in the playoffs?

^Lol. I hope the Lions crush (beat) the Saints, which is entirely plausible, because I can't stand New orleans. I also hope Tebow gets a new asshole ripped because I can't stand his jesus-loving ass.

Giving the show Portlandia a shot.
