The first time I played this game I wasn't hooked, but you saying one of your co-workers got to level 9 once makes me want to get to 10 and pwn everybody.

the key is to do super curves off the bat, you are risking every thing . However, if you manage to hit it twice back at the comp you prob make it (lvls 6+)

yeah I know that's why it's best to do it up until lvl 5 or 6, though im doing it on every single lvl.
