Yeah it was kinda harsh but like you said, she was prolly just frustrated cause everyone in the thread was on her ass about the seatbelt thing. I don't think she really meant to attack the other females here, she was just lashing out at everyone for riding her so hard about her comments in the thread....or maybe she was talking about someone in particular....I dunno but I'm sure she didn't mean any harm to all of us, least I hope not newayz. Syn is cool, I don't think she meant anything by it.
And yes we're supposed to stick together which is why I made that very comment in that thread. Ima defend any female on here for the simple fact that there ain't too many of us here so we gotta stick together to keep "the boys" from running over us.

well maybe syn was reading too much of my posts then cause thats me...i just nod my head nowadays since whenever i disagreed the mods would look up my IP address and announce to public my personal information...

Thats pretty disappointing, especially considering there was no need to target only females, the males of the board do it too.
The fact of the matter is that it annoys me that in most threads that deal with anything that isn't a joke, it always goes as follows;
There's a slight discussion. Then someone with some "power" usually the same people come along and make a statement either in favor of the topic or against it.
After that, 95% of everyone in the thread always mindlessly goes along with what that person says.
That comment wasn't meant as a shot at any particular female on the board, it was directed towards a certain person (who is male) who told me that I should agree with what they were saying so that they would drop it. That I should just go along with what everyone was saying like most females on the board do.

I know what you mean by other members being influenced somehow half way through the first page, atleast thats how it seems. I guess some people are too scared to let their opinions come out first in fear of back-lash or something.
Anyway I think in that thread, atleast it seemed to me, some people just wanted you to change your mind so that you would wear a seatbelt since they feel your in danger if you dont. I didnt see it as an attack at you really. Atleast you were honest even though its not the answer most people would have liked to hear.

With specific use of the term females there was intent to embarrass females whether you, in after thought, call it sarcastic or not. You just you just tried to justify the comment about females by saying people mindlessly agree, expressed so specifically toward females. Then say oh no i dont think females mindlessly agree. As if thats not the most flawed argument, both those statements cant be true. It's so illogical. Thats like saying females agree because all people, including females, agree but females dont just agree.
