Things that blow your mind

Saturn backlit by the sun.

Carolyn Porco showed some amazing photographs of Saturn at the TED conference. You can download the TEDtalks video podcast free from iTunes. One photograph showed the rings of Saturn side-on, showing you exactly how thin they are. It was incredible.

I was driving out to Pt Augusta last weekend (basically driving thru the desert) the amount of stars you see is amazing. But I saw what looked like a shooting star just alot bigger and had a huge orange tail trailing off it lasted for a good 5-10 seconds. There was just one then a lil later saw a smaller one without the tail. It was CRAZY! Thats what I love about leaving the city.

Saying 'this looks good' or 'that looks good' is all good, but don't you think you are overrating your own sense vision?

Out of all the senses Vision must be the one that is most commonly overrated.

My iPod touch blows my mind every single day. Just yesterday, I got the Game Boy Advance emulator working.. a great start to having wonderful GBA games on my touch. Today, I got iGet Mobile, now I have access to my PowerBook and my iMac from anywhere with my touch and a WiFi connection.
What's in store for the Installer.app tomorrow? I don't know but it blows my mind.
