It was meant to be on Thug Life Vol 1 but was a 'slow song' which they already had in Str8 Ballin so he scrapped and placed on MATW which was then re-recorded when Pac heard Biggies Ready 2 Die. :thumb:

im pretty sure old school was just a MATW song, he started recording that album in 93, if u go by his shouting out 9-trey in temptations, and as far as songs that didnt make it for AEOM, u can at least be sure of these 2:

u cant fade me: he refers to dramacydal at the end, as well as talking about dre in his verse but not dissing him

play ur cards right: mopreme is on the song meaning it has to be from the early dr sessions for AEOM since he left after that

another i would think might be is Soon As I Get Home, but that is just speculation i dont have proof like for the others

For each of his first six albums, which songs were originally suppose to be on the album but later on they were taken out OR which songs were to make 'part 2' albums, like there was suppose to be Thug life vol.2 which suppose to have songs such as 'Runnin'.
List all the songs for each of his first six albums there were supposedly have other then released ones.

dramacydal are on every version of runnin except eminems remix. the true original version of runnin from the police was supposed to be on thug life. 2pacalypse now was supposed to be a double album. friends was recorded for makaveli. ready 4 whatever, the original version of cradle 2 the grave, losin it, is it cool to fuck and others were meant to be on thug life at some point. strictly 4 my niggaz was a whole different album at first, troublesome 21. flex was cut from the album itself. as for all eyez on me, i dont know what songs or how many of them were cut but probably a lot. the one with faith evans being one i think. only one person can verify this and he is no longer with us.

you're going about it the wrong way though. try not to think of it as tracks being cut off albums because that can easily be mistaken. how many tracks do you think pac recorded for each album? im guessing a lot lol. a track actually being cut from an album that is done is a rare thing. 60 tracks being narrowed down to 15 that are used for an album, on the other hand, is more likely.

what way should i go bout it.. perhaps cut into two era's pre death row and death row..or even more specific cut into era albums thug life era,MATW era,AEOM and makaveli era albums?
