Has anyone seen this? Is it good / scary. I've seen the first one and thought it was a pretty good film, genuinely scary in some places too. You can watch the first five minutes of the film here :

The original Japanese version (Ringu) was far superior to the US equivalent (Ring).

However, the second Jap. version failed to meet the high standards of the first while the second US version (directed by the movie's Japanese created) is much better than the first US version making it seem like a really good movie.

It is good, but not any better than the second Jap. version & way, way short of the original.

It reminded me of that scene in the exorcist where that little whore went down the stairs like a fucking spider upside down

i didn't like it as much as the first, fairly predictable. still good though.

I saw it high. It was trippy, scary at times. It was a good sequel compared to sequels that come out for other movies.

Ringu 2 is not as good as the original Ringu.

The Ring 2 is better than the first US Ring.
