Quantic Soul Orchestra live @ Koko, Camden
Thursday 27th March 2008
With their first live show in London in over a year and a half the Quantic Soul Orchestra are a talented group with a feel for the old, classic funk of the last century and a forward thinking, 21st century attitude.
Having been rocking crowds in Brighton since Robert Luis and Mr Scruff first played the cdr recordings to huge acclaim, the deep funk sound has reached around the world and copies of the origional 7” ‘Super 8’ now sell for big bucks on e-bay.
Together with the grand-yet-intimate feeling of Camden’s Koko, and the wondrous experience that is The Shadow Orchestra, this is promising to be one of the most fun and memorable gigs of 2008. Expect to dance till you cant dance no more and walk away humming the bewitching melodies with a massive grin on your face!
