I was at the club last night and I witnessed something I've never really witnessed last night. The song We Takin Over came over the speakers. Of course, people were dancing to it. Then, to my surprise as Weezy's verse came up, literally everyone was singing his verse at the top of their lungs.

I don't mind him... really, hes not THAT bad, but I'll never buy his album, nor download it...

Whenever his song is on the radio or my friends car or in a club, I wont mind it.

On the other hand, the Make it Rain remix is one of the better things I,ve heard in the past 2-3 years.

I'd reply with something I guess "the people" would expect. Something to maybe salvage whatever pride of mine you obviously just crushed. What is there to get with Weezy though? That I haven't already got from N.W.A., Redman, Geto Boys, Jay-Z, Biggie, 'Pac, Ludacris which IMO did their thing alot better and with more passion towards the music itself then Weezy ever has or ever will. I even stated the dude was OK and the only thing I laughed was the whole "swagger" thing. Mick Jagger has swagger, Weezy or yourself do not.

I think Weezy is highly over-rated and very much a one-trick pony. Some of his stuff is aight. He's never blown me away though, and other folks do what he does and do it better.

Yeah I think exactly the same, plus I don't know if it's just me but I can't stand his voice. It irritates me so much that songs with him are unlistenable.

Swagger is fun, but it never lasts. I'd listen to a Swagger for a week and it's already old. If I wanted real Swagger, I'd go downtown and watch the jobless youths with Swagger hang around the same spot all day. And it's not about - "trying to look smart vs. feeling like a G" - I'm looking to gain something from what I listen to - Lil Wayne's flows are fun at first and that's about it.

Truth. Aside from 2pac and Eminem, no rapper has been able to keep my prolonged interest, but I'll enjoy Weezy while I still can.
