I like Omid's stand-up, but I caught a bit of the show and it didn't look great. The sketches didn't seem particularly inspired. There's a YouTube playlist of clips from the show, check that out.

As a general rule of thumb, if it's on BBC One it's not worth watching, and if it's on BBC Two it is.

If you're looking for some British comedy, I'd recommend Jack Dee's show Lead Balloon. Second series started recently, it's in the same vein as Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Why aimed at illu? Us other brits watch TV :)...tho admittedly most of what I watch now is downloaded US programs.
