Firstly, this isnt a proper legal lottery, its just some fun, sort of a kris kringle type thing really.

What if we have a lottery, anyone can buy a ticket for US$1, on Xmas day I will randomly pick the winners and split the total pool among them. What do you think?

Yeah, good idea, might be able to make some towards the running costs of the site too. You could throw in a months VIP to the winner too to spice it up. I'm assuming you've checked all the legalities etc with it though? I know in the UK you need some sort of lottery licence or some shit.

we do a lottery at work. everyone picks 6 numbers and every saturday if any of your numbers comes out in the national lottery you cross it out, when all your numbers are cross out you win. we put £1 in every week don't sound like much put it soon adds up. may be something like this could work

i'm sure i've read somewhere that if your not makin more then £25,00 or the jackpot is not bigger then £25,000 (can't remember) you don't need a licence.

it dont matter as long as noone says anything who would know.. but think it be better if like we did it on the lottery numbers or some shit so people could check them selves on the lottery website, its easy just choose a lottery what has a website then like on the day of the draw we check it to see if we have won, but i dont know keep putting wotever money it cost for a ticket and like say who ever chose the bonus ball number (dnt know how it works over there) wins like for instance:

last saturdays bonus ball was 43 if someone chose that number they would win, thats the UK lottery and its between 1-49, if noone chooses the correct number it rolls over or sum shit, or u keep the profits (dunno if people go for that tho) we could do that, just an idea
