I'm going to see it in less than 2 hours. The showing is at 6.45pm.

Review to follow later tonight.

Seems like we got this one a couple days earlier than you guys in the states....I could have sworn the posters I saw in Portland said that it was coming out in the U.S on the 27th.

Yea i dont expect the movie to amaze me. Simpsons have been around so god damn long it's kinda hard to come up with new shit for a new episode let alone an entire movie. But im still gonna watch it 2nite at midnight.

I aint gonna post up a big ass review since that would probably involve spoilers etc.

But I'll say this much:

I thought the movie was OK. Nothing spectacular. I'd give it 7/10. This could have been a lot better than it is.

i just came back from the matinee. it was surprisingly good i was figuring Mr Burns was gonna be a big part of the movie. but he wasnt.

Matt did good with Homer he stepped back a little bit and made him more Stupid. everybody else in the movie was basically what you see during the season. could have done without the Nude Bart scene, yes they even drew a penis on him. Marge at the end saying *Throw the God Damm Bomb*

when Bart was naked he had been dared by Homer to ride to Krusty Burger with no clothes on his skateboard. when he was going thru town he went by Ralph and Ralph says..* i like men now.*

Tom Hanks has a Cameo in the movie too. i wont spoil nothing i'll wait til more of you guys see it this weekend.

Oh and theres some stuff at the end of the movie so dont get up and leave the theatre. Maggie says somethin at the End.

so i saw the movie over the weekend. better than i thought it would be, but still not as good as it should have been, considering we've been waiting 20 years for this damn movie. some hilarious bits tho, and even though i saw it coming a mile away i still had to laugh at Bart writing "I will not illegally download this movie" on the chalkboard lol. 3.5 out of 5.

Some good jokes, more daring than what they would put on TV, Homer giving the town people the finger, Bart naked etc. Animation was superb, but I honestly felt like I was watching it like it was a normal TV episode, didnt even feel like it last 90 minutes.

i saw it this sunday. i'm not disappointed. i did not expect less or more from the movie. thats what the simpsons are. i wouldnt have been happy if they would have tried to make it something extraordinary because it wouldnt be the simpsons to me. this movie contained the essence if the simpsons. it had to be like the tv show. and i'm glad it was. i'm satisfied.
SPOILER ------------------- (if we can consider this like one)

maggie did say at the end that there might be a sequel.

Lol I dl'd it and had to pause it on bart's dick just so we can laugh more, it was being blocked the whole time then when you expect it to be over BAM, shit was hillarious.

Movie was pretty good though, I liked it.
