I started this thread a while ago before the board went down so i thought i'd start it back up...

We can share ringtones, request ringtones and ask cellphone/ringtone questions in here and i should be able to help u out :thumb:

For those people with sprint, go to www.sprintusers.com/focus ...enter your phone number in there to send ur ringtones. If its a mp3 file u have to rename the extension to .mid then send it because that site doesnt allow u to send mp3s but if u rename it to .mid it will allow the file to go through

so heres a few random ringtones i thought i'd share to get it started...

I have Nextel now, so how do I get the ringtones onto my phone, other than going to the flea market on 127th and Pulaski and paying $12 for five???

synful if im not mistaken....sprint merged wit nextel so u may be able to use that site i posted in the first post try that and let me know what happens ill look into it tho...

its not lookin to good for that nextel so far....(shoulda went to verizon or sprint) ill tell u that much....u might have to end buying a data cable for it....but dont take my word on it yet tho im still lookin up info on ur phone...but...on a lighter note..merry christmas!

First you need WebJAL, this program lets you upload ringers, wallpapers and games to your phone.

You can get Webjal HERE...( http://blazerxtreme.com/i860/ ) The USB cable can be bought at almost all Nextel stores, but you can get one a lot cheaper on Ebay. Moto might even still be giving away free USB cables. So it's either Webjal+cable or pay $3.00 per ringtone/wallpaper from Nextel's site. But why pay for what you can do for free.

Nextel is great, I love the chirp options, i get free incoming calls, and my free nights start at 6, I can't complain.

i remba when 2pacnbiggie made this thread ages ago went pretty long lol... but are you lot taling about polyphonic/midi ringtones or mp3? cuz mid/poly tones are a thing of the past now... i use mp3 as my ringtones..

Nextel is a pain in the ass to get ringtones to tho from what i've been reading. But i aint gonna lie, the incoming calls and the freenights at 6 are coo...but Verizon is alot better :thumb:
