OK, maybe a little premature to say these are the albums of the year but I honestly feel nothing will top these. The purple genius has outdone himself and dropped some of the most BAD ASS material he's done in years.

Lotusflow3r is an organic rock record, and MPLSound is a return to the 80's style trippy experimental pop Prince.Regardless of the styles, both of these albums ARE ABSOLUTELY KILLER.

Albums drop on Sunday exclusively at Target in the US. Digital download out now on lotusflow3r.com, once you buy a year subscription to the site for $77 which also includes a huge video archive, t-shirt and loads of other stuff (I imagine there'll be a digital download option without a club subscription soon too).

Prince was on Leno last night performing live and will also be on the show tonight and tomorrow too.

I'm honestly surprised at just how much Prince has outdone himself here. The albums are ridiculously sick. MPLSound is my preferred of the two, but Lotusflow3r is amazing too!

i been waiting for the HMV in Hong Kong to sell them because i want to purchase the actual CDs, but still no hope.

Also am worried about ordering from target to deliver goods to china.

Remember back when Prince had the NPG site where you can officialy download his tracks as mp3s,
do you know if there is an official site to download today?

Yes. I'm having a physical copy shipped from the States, but I got my digital copy the day it was released, from Prince's new website.

It's PRINCE - LOTUSFLOW3R - MPLSOUND - BRIA VALENTE - ELIXER - the only thing is that the albums aren't available yet outside of paying for a yearly subscription to the site, which costs $77. With that price you get the three new albms, first access to tickets, and access to a big video and picture archive that will be getting updated quite a lot. It's pretty cool.

i was wondering why his official website was so abstract.
you had to become a full member to get access to other menus,


am still going to try and hold out for the physical copies.
i dont want to join another club when the last NPG club just dissapeared after a few years. i know in uk, hmv is selling them, but not at the good price that target is offering.-
