Ping Pong Bitches - The Beast(download)

This track is a great electro-rock grinder of a track. the Ping Pong Bitches album went virtually ignored by the media, but it had some serious bangers on it, including this one. Some of you might know them from the track 'Girls' by The Prodigy.

Dez Dickerson - Modernaire(download)

Ever seen the video's to '1999' or 'Little Red Corvette' by Prince? If so, the guitarist with the kamikazi headband is Dez Dickerson. He left Prince's band before 'Purple Rain', but was still tight enough with Prince, that he appeared in the movie with his new band, The Modernaires, performing the song 'Modernaire', for all of about 12 or 13 seconds.

Label politics meant that Dez's new band never got to release an album, but years later, Dez released the full version of 'Modernaire' on a box set. And here it is. A great funk-rocker, the Minneapolis sound in all it's glory.

Kraftwerk - Pocket Calculator (Live at the Cirkus, Sweden, 10th Feb 2004)(download)

For 4 guys standing in front of laptops with a giant video screen behind them - Kraftwerk put on one of the best live shows I have ever seen. Check out this live version of 'Pocket Calculator' from Sweden in 2004. Bow down to the inventors of electronic music!

Roisin Murphy - Let Me Know(download)

Simply a great dance-pop tune, produced by Groove Armada, great catchy vocals from Roisin.
