i like the 80s dance around like were dancing to the loco-motion alanis morisette. the one before she adopted her damn im so alternative that im too smart for everyone alter-ego.

I remember when "Jagged little pill" dropped everyone i knew loved that album!! Her next album was terrible though, i have it but cant remember what its called, an i cant be fucked going an looking! It does have my fav alanis song on it though, "Thank you"

/\ Hand in my pocket was a single off the "jagged little pill" album, which sold 34 million and is in the top 2 biggest selling records of all time by a female artist. (the other one is shania twain's "come on over" but I'm not quite sure who's got more sales currently.)

So you like generic package-line fake pop stars over serious intellectual artists that write their own songs? Right.

i was just bein sarcastic, but i tend to not like artists who try too hard to encompass themselves in a culture which they weren't previously but use as a gimmick to sell records and then take themselves too seriously(alanis)
that said, her songs are fine whatever not my cup of tea . i liked ironic

You can't really blame her from wanting to be a serious artist. The whole bubblegum thing wasn't really her.
