Even before I read this, I actually want to stop using the word "nigga". Believe it or not, it's actually quite hard to stop. Once you've had something literally embeded in your brain for so long, you can't just get it out with a snap of your fingers.

i agree. over here we have he word "digga". its like "dude/dog" etc. and can be used in almost every sentence with different meanings.. when me and some friends took part in an exchange program (5weeks only) to chicago, we thought it would be wise to not use the word, because others might overhear "nigga".

it turned out to be very hard to not subconciously use it.

If your not white, you are no longer allowed to use the white or "peach" colors on the crayon box. Nor are you allowed to say the following: white (or any form of the word white), light, peach, caucasian, cracker, Michael Jackson, Mr. Rogers, Jew (as most assume to be a white guy with a big nose), Eminem, or anything else in slight relation to the "white" race.

There, now that this is settled, let's all set down and celebrate this new found glory with the races that are allowed to say "nigga"... white people aren't invited..

how can you forbid white people to use a (GERMAN) slang word ?? i dont really get it. digga has got NOTHING to do with wigga or nigga or anything like that.
it derives(sp?) from the word "dicker" which refers to a friend/dude/dog/pal.
now why shouldnt people use their slang , only because it sounds like nigga? what if in russian "nigga" meant bottle ? should they not use their word for bottle ? -> stupid
but should they try to avoid it around non-russians ? -> most def
