i dont know if you have been following up on the info.

Both Movies will be a Prequel/Remake. Halloween is scheduled for some time this year. and Friday The 13th is now pushed back til 2008. as New Line and Paramount settled their legal issues.

do you think that these movies are gonna be any good? are you curious to see if these movies help ressurect the franchises?

Your thoughts?

Im somewhat afraid to see these movies just because i'll be dissapointed when i walk out the movie theater. out of the 2 i think Halloween might wind up being the better movie, story wise and because Rob Zombie is in charge of the film.

unlike Friday, i was so dissapointed with Jason X, Jason v Freddy, and Part 9. thinking this is gonna be the same type.

when they come out i'll change my mind and wind up seeing them.

well i'm not much for remakes at all, so i won't be too interested in these. oh and just to note, i believe that the Friday movie is being made by the same people who did the remake of TCM. there have also been rumors of an Evil Dead remake as well, possibly with Sam Raimi involved.

I don't know if anyone here has read the Halloween remake script review over at AICN.com (link here http://www.aintitcool.com/node/31221) but I didn't have great hopes to begin with. Halloween is one of my favorite horror/thrillers, and after reading the review, man, oh man. Also, about a week after that was posted a rumor started that Rob Zombie delayed the film to go back and make some script changes (http://www.aintitcool.com/node/31280) so this thing isn't going to be good. Rob Zombie's previous 2 movies sucked Lion balls. The Friday the 13th one will be terrible, I'm willing to bet as well.
