The New Aston Martin V8 Vantage

This was the one of the most popular cars at the 2005 Geneva Motor Show.

With a projected price of around €104,500 in Europe, it goes head to head with rivals like the Porsche 911 - and although Aston doesn't expect to sell anything like 911 numbers, they do expect the V8 Vantage to become Aston's biggest seller ever.

Performance should be impressive. It promises a top speed of 175 mph and 0-60 mph in just 4.9 seconds, and Bez promises that where the DB9 is a Grand Tourer and the Vanquish a supercar, the V8 Vantage is a sports car in the finest sense.

Truth be known, i liked the old V8 better. This one looks like it's DB cousins and has similarities with the Vanquish too. Old V8 Vantage looked like it would have Ferraris for breakfast. It looked different.

Big bad ass british muscle car. The Le Mans edition had a twin supercharged (yes, twin) v8 pushing a hefty 600 bhp and heaps upon heaps of torque. It would propel the bleedin huge machine to 60mph under 4 secs.

buy one of those and you oughta get shares in the tire industry

ooh, nothing comes close to a 911 in my opinion.

I always thought Aston Martin's were an old farts car, but I will admit - that one looks nice.

man some porsches are nice i wont deny that dont get me wrong but a little overrated man i'd say....

every person i meet its porsche this and porsche that i'm hoping i'll meet someone who knows nothing on cars so at least i don't have to hear about em so much.
