Buddy.. I'm a monster Mars Volta fan... check out my sig.. can't wait.

They're one hot band right now. There popularity is growing imensely. If you need someone to chat with about Mars Volta, At The Drive In, Sparta.. I'm your man.

As for the video you referred too whenurherofalls, The Widow, is actually based on a dream that Omar, lead guitarist, had one night. He dreamt about a man selling ice cream who had chickened feet.. sounds odd, but it's true. Check out the video again.. you'll see how an ice cream man is referred too, as with the chicken feet too.

One of my fav bands ever no doubt :D

Peace

Definitely one of the most creative and versatile bands around. Their first album De-loused in The Comatorium, has been dubbed by some music enthusists as one of the best concept albums EVER created.

And they sound twice as amazing when you're baked out of your mind

Been a fan since Relationship of Command and shit.

The new album was kind of a letdown, compared to the last one, but it had its moments. I'm worried that the next one's going to be too pretentious for its own fucking good. I realize they want to make art and all that shit, but... um, other people are going to have to listen to it and buy it?

I was gonna see them live in a couple of weeks, but tickets sold out. I could drop a couple of bills on eBay... but no one's worth that.

Relationship of Command is actually At The Drive-In. It's not even a fair comparison cause only Omar and Cedric from ATDI went to Mars Volta, while the others formed Sparta.

Mars Volta and ATDI are two totally different sounds. They aren't even in the same genre music... but both are amazing nonetheless..
