Yesterday there was a sneak preview of the longest yard for the soldiers on base (usually movie companys send their movies to bases as 'support' as well as free publicity if the movie is good)..so me and my boy went to see it. it was pretty funny with a pretty rich cast of athletes and 'mens men' - stone cold , kevin nash, goldburg, brian bosworth, etc...
the only thing that i can say bothered me was that steve austin was playing a racist gaurd. he approached nelly and called him a nigger to his face and asked him if the word 'nigger bothered him..does it nigger?'
that kinda made me feel funny due to me being such a fan of austin..i know its just a script but theres more than one way to have charactors come off as jerks.
