Non-Urban Music the killers- sam's town

Not as good as i was anticipating. The single when we were young gave my hopes up. No song on the album comes close. Sam's Town and This River is Wild(which sounds EXTREMELY similiar to Bruce Springstein) come the closest. Maybe i just need a few more listens, but its just alright. Their first album was much better

Hot Fuss had good singles but nothing else.This new album isnt great.Not a great band imo.

i do agree that there first album was much better
But i don't agree with Tupac the Greats comment that they're not a gret band.

But then again, coming down ecstasy on new years eve listening to Mr Brightside might just mean there sentimental value attached to the band.

What is a really good song on this CD? I want to see if I like it and get over this experimental stage that I'm in now and stick to genres that I actually like.

The singles off Hot Fuss are very good.

I wouldnt consider them great like Oasis or Radiohead.

I think every song off of Hot Fuss was good. Sam's Town seems kind of like a half-ass effort, or maybe a losing of talent.

bones was a stupid decision for a second single. That song is just lame. Shouldve been this river is wild. the only other really good song on the album
