it was reported that band leader kevin eubanks will be leaving the tonight show shortly after it debuts. i really don't want him to leave but it is what it is. he's a very talented musician and pretty funny too. it's going to be hard to find someone that jay has the same chemistry with on stage. but on a better note, the tonight show is going to get a brand new set and they will continue to film from the same studio location in burbank starting march 1st.

rumor has it that jamie foxx will be jay's first guest on the show when it debuts.
