Have you seen it? (see trailer above if not) i went to see it last night and it was scary and gory but the story wasn't that great!

i went into it hoping only one thing...that it was at least a good movie, b/c the OG sucked balls (it was slow, boring, stupid). i got more than i expected out of this one. it wasn't horrifying or anything, but it was kinda scary and it was an entertaining movie.

It's a horror film, originally by Wes Craven. Similar to Last House of the Left in terms of the underlying themes, dunno if you've seen that.

^^^actually, this new one was produced by wes craven, too. haven't seen LHOTL, but i'm sure it's better than the OG hills have eyes (as you guys can probably tell, i'm pretty adamently opposed to the first one ).

I saw this flick when it came out on Fri. I was hesitant to see cause i heard on a scale of 1-10 on the gore factor, it was a like 14. But it really wasnt that bad just creepy as fuck.

There is a rape scene. But its so hard to take seriously. The entire movie is hard to take seriously cause these motherfuckers are doing things that any normal family wouldnt even consider.

But maybe thats just me... the people in the theater with me were really getting into that shit. They were fucking clapping out loud multiple times because there was an infant involved. People were clapping and cheering.

There are a couple of parts that made me jump from being startled but i was high and extra paranoid and my sense were all over the place.

Overall i usually hate movies like this but i actually really liked this movie. On a side note if u see this movie, it might ruin ur day. lol. i gotta warn yall.
