I picked up my copy this morning and i gotta say. Game is pretty tight! I was gettin a lil weird since i kept hearing mixed reviews about the game and now that i've played it for myself...i really wasn't dissapointed at all. I got the collectors edition with the bonus dvd and different cover art. Ya'll should really check this game out, especially if you love the movies. Too bad Michael Corleone isn't in the game due to Al Pacino not giving his likeness rights, that would have made the game even better.

Yeah I had it for a week or so now, it's pretty good though frame rates and controls are a bit off, Michael Corleone is in the game but he sounds weird ....

Its a good game for sure, shame Al would not provide his likeness and voice to the part of michael. Controls and everything seem very solid to me, the only thing i don't like is how nearly every shop and warehouse is layed out the same, there are only about 3 variations.
Saying that though it is a fun game and extorting the shopkeepers is addictive as hell :)

the game is alright, i got the PC version and the controls suck for combat. The graphics for character faces are great, but the rest aren't the best, Mafia had better textures and that game is years old

That sucks. I was going to get it for PC. What sucks about it? My friend got it for ps2 and brought it over. This game is awesome.

well controls for the keyboard suck. EA should've made seperate control schemes but if you want an enjoyable experience you need to buy a controller. I get a headache after 20 minutes of playing since the camera REALLY sucks, the cam bobs alittle while you run. Theres no option for audio so the games music is pretty damn loud, and you'll get tired of the Godfather theme since it plays all the damn time. If they changed the games controls it would be awesome

Pacino gave his likeness rights for Scarface....but he didn't want to record vocals for the game so the developers were forced to hire a sound a like.

Aren't you allowed to change the controls yourself in Options or something? Just about every game allows you to.
of course, but the way it was MADE to be played was that if you wanted to punch you would wind up with the analog and punch, the PC does not allow it, you either have to use your mouse or press E and Q, but using the mouse sucks ass because your camera will move as your wind up your punch, and pressing E or Q is an instant hit so you can't control your punch. This game was obviously intended for the console.

would this game be considered a shooter??? i dont have it yet, but generally shooters are better on the pc as long as there isnt too much extra shit where you gotta take your hands away from the basic controls like the mouse and the arrow keys.....brings back the days of Black and White where every key did something to the game....

there are shooter components to the game, but theres the ability to lock onto a target and move around and shoot at the same time. The game is like GTA in a Godfather setting. I was hooked to it for a day but then i got TES 4: Oblivion and i haven't played Godfather since
