As far as the serious issues. We are dealing with different members at the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce but we have managed a meeting with Johnny Grant himself the major of Hollywood who is in charge of the selection committee.
As far as the cost which is $15,000 and requires a sponsor we are prepared to deal with that with various promotional ideas, fundraisers and some sponsors backing us. We have allreaddy managed to reach some rappers such as Kanye West and ofcourse all our local west coast heads to be a part of this movement.
Problems can arise due to some ignorant people who value Ryan Seacrest contribution more then 2pac and that is what outraged us. Trust me as sad as it is their are people in key positions who will view Pac as a"Thug" "criminal" and they will try to block this. We allreaddy heard a 5 year waiting period for a nomination cause it's posthumous and other nonsense to try to slow down this movement.
That is why we will be dealing with the direct person in charge and by this petition and our movement on the streets of LA we are trying to show that 2pac had massive appeal and will attract huge tourisim to the city look at the worldwide fan base.
Bottom line their is strength in numbers and the petiton will show that and monetary issue is secondary once we recieve the final approval and by friday things will be clearer then we can move on.
Also PAC fans man props on all the support and the private messages, and emails of support me and Mil both appreciate it and we got yall and we putting in all this work to not only put a smile on Afeni's face but on all of us cause we know Pac deserves a star man and deserves to be recognized.
