okay, i gave into temptation and downloaded the clean version... I'm still going to buy it when it comes out...
OVERALL, I think it was a pretty good album...
Its easier to focus on negatives, but I was just disappointed with What's Next and Pacs life with Snoops remix... First off, I'm all for updating the beats.. But the What's next OG track was one that I could play when I was feeling stressed... The new one makes me want to poke my eyes out...
Rather than have Snoop on a remix with Chris Star... They should have just added his vocals on the first Pac's life track... here I was getting used to Ashanti singing... thinkin about railin her fine ass... lol.. but then now I'm hearing this other person singing and thinkin "whos this bitch?" come to find out its a dude, Chris starr, that sounds like a girl... lol... I love Snoop, and I loved the idea of him getting back on a CD of PACS... This dissapointed...
another thing, they should have just put Keisha Cole, Ludacris and Tupac on Playa cards right... i dig them tracks... but they seem like they're missing something... maybe if they combined those three on one track, then they could have put the k-ci, jojo and pac og track...
Well, I feel like I'm being negative... I dig the album... Its not ME Against The World... or All Eyez On ME good... But 2pac has a way of making nearly any song legendary... err... classic...err... lets just say 2pac is a legend and makes others around him better... thats it!
I know its hard thing to ask for, but there isnt a song on there thats gonna get a grammy nomination like Dear Mama... Thats the type of track I'm still waiting for after his death... Wished there could have been a Ron isley track and Johnny J track... but other than that, all i can say is that I DIG IT...
As always, expectations for tupac are always high... if it doesnt meet ur expectations, just remember, its still a lot better than other music thats comings out... atleast in my opinion
peace...
