Whenever The Show Does Finally Come To An End. (Hopefully Not For A While). What would You Do For A Final Episode?

That is A Tough One, A Few Things I Would Do.

a) Have Lisa Finally Graduate Out Of Springfield Elementary. She Gets A Letter That Says "You've Been Promoted to the 7th Grade". Lisa Decides To Accept an Move On. (Bart doesnt Get Lucky An Stays Back, Maybe You Can Move Bart to the 6th.

b) Kill Off The Grandpa Character, Have A Will Reading Everybody Finds Out That Krusty Is A Simpson. (Homer an Krusty Do Look Alike). Krusty Was Adopted By The Rabbi. Homer Shocked On What He Learns Decides To Quit The Nuclear Power Plant. Gets In Show Business (ala Krusty), An Moves The Family To Capital City.

c) What Will Probably Happen, Finally Let Maggie Talk. After All The Years Let Her Speak. She Starts Talkin She Tells Marge All The Stuff Homer An Bart Did Throughout The Years.

That's A few Things. Would You Leave Everything As It Is?
One Thing They Should Have Done Was Let Bart And Lisa Grow Up A Little Bit. (Hell The South Park Boys Grew Up A Little Bit).

Just Curious To See What You Guys Think.

That is a Great IDEA!

The last eppisode will have to be like 2 hours long! they should just make the Last season really nuts!

something like the last eppisode of Seinfield.

bigCASH- Springfield, Kentucky. They say this in the "Behind the Laughter" episode.

That's a cover-up. It's Springfield, Oregon, which is near to the city of Eugene. I know because I have been there, it's where Matt Groening (creator of The Simpsons) is from, I picked up the local town newspaper and it had a comic strip in it drawn by him, every issue.

I also went to the bar that Moe's Tavern is based upon, it's called Max's Bar & Grill.

The Simpsons will never end.

I Hope Not, Matt Said In An Article He Has Material Do Go At Least 20 Seasons. (Maybe More).

He Might Go As Long As The Bugs Bunny/Looney Tunes Series.

Springfield, Oregon. Hmm Makes Sense. Just Look At the Oregon Map an Find Springfield, an See If There's A Shelbyville next 2 It.

Lol, I can't explain the way I pictured somebody saying this to make it funny, but yea, it's funny to me.

I agree with having the family finding out that Krusty is in fact a Simpson. That'd be great.

Naw I don't think Shelbyville is a real place. I think Shelbyville is based on Eugene.

Springfield is made up. They'll never reveal it because it doesn't exist. Every state has been ruled out in the clues.

If I wrote the last episode I would have them fast forward to the future and we can see Bart and Lisa and Maggie and their children. And at the end Homer dies and he talks to God, and God tells him his life was all a TV show, and then they make fun of the Truman Show and do that type of ending. God asks Homer if he wants to keep doing the show and he says no and then walks out of Springfield. I would have him fall or trip or hit his head on something at the end, so his last words are "Doh!" before he leaves.

and i quote

"In the "Behind the Laughter" episode, a narrator describes the Simpsons as a "northern Kentucky family." In reruns however, this was changed to southern Missouri, purposely adding to the confusion. There are in fact Springfields and Shelbyvilles in both Kentucky and Missouri. However, this episode featured the Simpson family as actors "playing" roles of themselves, and the events depicted on the episode are not recognized as being part of the series' set continuity."
