The End of Christian America

^ You brought up a whole different point that contridicts your previous point.

Earlier you said

and then you quote

Hmm, are you confused? It seems so.

Read the article. The top countries of growth rate are middle eastern countries, the article was about the number declining. Look at statistics of growth rates in the world, most of the middle east countries average 1.8% growth while the rest average out 1.2%.

My remark to your first post still stands. You claimed that Islam is a grown religion because Muslims have a higher birth rate. However, you proved yourself wrong with that UN quote.

Islam is the fasted growing religion in the west due to conversions .

There aren't enough conversions a year to affect the number greatly like birth rates. A half million conversions a year is nothing compared to the births in the region every year.

Fertility Declining in the Middle East and North Africa - Population Reference Bureau

Fertility may be done now but the population of the region quadrupled in 57 years. Yemen still averages around 7 children.

"The Middle East and North Africa includes some of the world's fastest growing countries, and the region as a whole saw its population quadruple in the second part of the 20th century, from 104 million to 400 million. It added another 32 million by 2007 "

Thing is Muslims don't intend on modernizing. You think they'll modernize the Sharia? Keep dreaming.

I think the need for better living standards will go ahead of the strictness of sharia law. Turkey is an example of a muslim country that has modernized and educated and has become more secular. Christian countries went through the process, I'm confident Islam countries will too.
